Gills Manager:
Andy Hessenthaler

Gillingham Manager Andy Hessenthaler was understandably delighted with his sides 1-0 win over Wolves.

"We went down to ten men today and our defending was out of this world" He said.

It was a tremendous effort considering we had picked up a few injuries again.

"We actually had nine senior players out today, so we went with the kids, and we have come through it."

Gillingham Defender Ian Cox was sent off for taking down Wolves winger Kevin Cooper, whilst being the last man.

"I think that there was contact, but the lad Cooper, who is a good pro, has gone down very easily . Rules are rules, and unfortunately, Ian was the last man." Hessenthaler said.

Wolves Manager:
Dave Jones

Wolves Manager Dave Jones was furious with his sides performance. Wolves failed to beat ten-man Gillingham, despite having the man advantage for 80 minutes.

"Coming here, playing ten men for much of the game, having so much of the ball and yet doing nothing with it is so frustrating," Jones said.

"It was a lethargic performance where I think we were more affected by the sending off than they were. At the end of the day we didn't do enough."

Jones also added that on-loan defender Mikkel Bischoff is a doubt for Tuesday's game with Sunderland after suffering concussion.
