BIG MATCH PREVIEW: Wolves caretaker boss Stuart Gray has asked for a repeat performance of the 2-0 win over QPR last month. Since that game, Wolves have crumbled into a useless wreck, costing Manager Dave Jones his job.

| Saturday sees Wolves host East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest in an intriguing battle between one club which has lost it's manager and another which seems destined to lose it's. These two famous old clubs have fallen from grace alarmingly this season and no quarter will be given
as even at this early stage the game must be seen as a relegation 6 pointer. Tricky Trees manager Joe Kinnear finds himself under huge pressure following his sides dismal start to the season in which they have won just two of their opening 15 league games and are still without an away victory. The only crumb of comfort for Forest fans is their sides exciting run to the 4th Round of the League Cup. Forests' struggle has been a surprise to many football pundits, especially when considering the wealth of talent Kinnear has at his disposal. One such star of the Forest line up is tough tackling full back Louis Jean. Jean has cult status at the City Ground and former Wolves boss Dave Jones made no secret of his admiration for the Forest star. Another to look out for on Saturday is troublesome striker Marlon King. King has been misfiring for much of the season and has been taking a lot of flak from the Forest faithful. However he has recently silenced his doubters with 6 goals in his last 7 games. Wolves find themselves in desperate trouble and are now being sucked in to the relegation dogfight, much to the despair of their ever loyal fans. Caretaker Manager and part time philosopher Stuart Gray has major problems, and will bare the brunt of the fans frustrations if he persists with playing players out of position - as was the Dave Jones way. |
