| Saturday sees Wolves travel to deepest and grimmest Yorkshire as they travel to basement boys Rotherham United in an intriguing clash between the
have's and have-not's of the Coca Cola Championship. On paper this game should be a formality however no game in this division can be described as that and as such this relegation 6 pointer will be
no doubt be a tough, uncompromising affair - certainly not one for the faint hearted! Rotherham United or the Merry Millers as they are affectionately known have had nothing short of a catastrophic start to the season and are the only side in England yet to win a league game. Ronnie Moores men are reeling from picking up only 7 points to date and they are already a mammoth 12 points from safety. However results have picked up slightly and Moore can point to the fact they are unbeaten in their last two as signs of improvement. Wolves eased some of their relegation fears after an impressive 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest last Saturday in a game that was more conclusive than the result suggests. However Wolves recent away form has been disastrous and they have lost their previous 4 games on their travels including the humiliating 1-0 capitulation at 10 man Gillingham. Caretaker boss and contender for the permanent managerial vacancy Stuart Gray understands that only positive results can help his case for the job and will have this one earmarked as a must win. |
