Over 6,000 Turn Up To Reserve Game

OVER 6,000 fans turned up at Telford United's Bucks Head Stadium to watch Wolves fall to a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool.

6,280 fans turned up at the game. Almost 6,000 more fans than when Wolves beat Everton 5-0 at Bucks Head last week.

The support was mainly from Liverpool fans - which was a record for Telford United's Bucks Head stadium- who had made the journey to watch the return of England International Steven Gerrard.

Neil Mellor scored a last minute goal for the visitors to end Wolves' recent good form.
