Hoddle Hopes He Can Return To Spurs - Reports

HE has been in the Wolves hot-seat for just under a week and already Glenn Hoddle is supposedly leaving Molineux. Reports today suggest he is on his way back to Spurs.

Reports today suggest that Glenn Hoddle is part of a consortium set to buy Spurs and, should the deal come off, Hoddle will be appointed as the new Spurs Manager.

The People claim that Hoddle has held secret meetings with millionaire businessmen who want to buy Spurs, although the London-based club has today denied they are willing to sell.

Hoddle says the consortium would buy the club and then "hopefully" make him manager.

""Hopefully these guys [The Consortium] would say: 'Glenn, you run the football side." said Hoddle.

Hoddle signed just a six-month contract with Wolves and would be free to walk away from Molineux at the end of the season.
