Saturday's 4-2 win over West Ham United at Molineux was Matt Murray's first league game in 16 months after the highly-rated young shot stopper had been suffering from a stress facture in his foot.

Murray was today at Hospital for a scan, however the results of the scan are not expected to arrive at Molineux until Friday, meaning Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle may have to recall on-loan 'keeper Paul Jones from Watford.

"Matt complained once more of foot pain after Saturday's game, the fear is he may have a reoccurrence of problems with the fracture, which had been fixed with a screw and bone graft towards the end of last season." said Wolves physio Barry Holmes.

Glenn Hoddle's only other option in the possible absence of Murray will be to hand a place on the bench for rookie - but highly rated - young goalkeeper Carl Ikeme. Michael Oakes would regain his first team place.

*George Ndah, who has not played a competitive league game for Wolves since the Play-Off Semi-Final first leg in 2003 due to injury has had yet another injury set-back. The pacey forward suffered a thigh-strain and has been ruled out of tomorrow's friendly with Aston Villa.
