Former Chairman and vice-president Jack Harris sadly passed away on Friday morning following a stroke. Mr Harris guided Wolverhampton Wanderers through some of the darkest years and the work he did for Wolves will never be forgotten.
In 1993 the famous old "Southbank" was renamed "The Jack Harris Stand" in honour of the work he did for the club and his name still sits proudly on the side of the Southbank. The Wolves players will be wearing black armbands as a mark of respect against Arsenal on Saturday and Wolves give their all as the message from the fans is "Do it for Jack!"
Wolves have a history of raising their game in the big games - and they don't come much bigger than this! Wolves took points off Manchester United, Liverpool, Everton, Middlesbrough and Newcastle United to name but a few last season and Glenn Hoddle says that the Wolves players will fancy their chances when they step on to the Highbury pitch on Saturday.
"We've just got to go out there with belief about ourselves." Said Hoddle, who used to play under Arsenal boss Wenger.
"And I tell you what, if you were a fly on our dressing room wall at five to three on Saturday you would be thinking to yourself 'this lot fancies there chances'. Be in no doubt about that!"
"You can be in with a chance in any game. This is the FA Cup and the one thing that is instilled into you as a young player is to be a winner whether it is in a game of cards on the coach or in an FA Cup-tie at Arsenal.
"We'll go with a game plan and if we maximise our performance then who knows what might happen?" Hoddle told the Official Website.
Wolves will be taking 5,200 fans and the only absentee from the 2-1 win over Millwall last week is Mark Clyde. The youngster is serving a one game suspension and Hoddle may give the now fit Rob Edwards his 5th appearance of the season.
This is a chance for the fans to enjoy a good day out. Last season it was difficult to enjoy the games against the big clubs with the pressure of relegation haunting us all. We won't be relegated if we lose this game on Saturday, but if we win, it will be one of the biggest cup upsets of recent times.
