Wolverhampton Wanderers has today confirmed who the new Wolves Sponsor is, and as Wanderersway told you over two weeks ago its........

This is the logo which will be plasterd over everything "Old Gold and Black" in the next two years, as "the number 1 Corn Chip in the UK" completed a £1.5 Million deal to become the Wolverhampton Wanderers Offical Club Sponsor. Thus being the most expensive sponsorship in the clubs history.

Wolves Chief Executive Jez Moxey told the clubs Official Website "Having Doritos as our new Club sponsor is fantastic news. It`s the richest deal in the Club`s history. It`s a great brand for an ambitious Club and I`m sure this will be a tremendous partnership."

"Also, apart from the material benefits, it means that our supporters will be the first to try new products from Doritos when they come to Molineux!"
Martin Glenn, Chief Executive of Walkers also told the clubs Offical Website: "We are delighted that Doritos is to be the new shirt/ club sponsor of Wolves FC. Doritos, is a young brand, with a great product range which is proving to be very popular in the UK. Since its launch into the UK market in 1994, Doritos as a brand has grown at a spectacular rate. Just in the last year it has grown by over 17%."

"We are now looking for new ideas to work with Doritos in order to make the brand more mainstream, gaining more awareness".

"This is why we are sponsoring Wolves; it provides us with a great opportunity to gain awareness for our brand with the logo being on the team shirts, week in week out".

"We at Walkers are experienced at working with football clubs; we have been involved in football sponsorship since 1978. We pride ourselves on our involvement in football at all levels, from grass roots to the England National Squad. We are very much looking forward to having Wolves FC as part of our football programme for the next season".

The New Shirt
So this is the shirt "We Chose". And this is the shirt the lads will be wearing next season, you either love it or you hate it. The shirt goes on sale in August and will set you back around £40.
