Hoddle Tells His Men To Up The Pressure

WOLVES boss Glenn Hoddle has told the media during his weekly press-conference that when Wolves return to action they must put pressure on the surrounding teams if a play-off place is to be achieved.

Hoddle told the media today that if Wolves are to make a charge and reach the play offs at the end of the season then they cannot afford to lose any of their remaining league games.

Wolves were due to play Derby County at Pride Park this weekend, but the game was postponed due to Derby County's FA Cup commitments meaning Wolves have a free week.

Wolves will next be in action a week on Saturday when Gillingham visit Molineux. "If we're going to make a charge for the top of the table, every game between now and the end of the season is one we can't afford to lose." Hoddle said.

"And every game we win will make the next one even bigger but in a positive way."

"But we've won three and drawn one of our last five games going into this break and we didn't let ourselves down when we lost at Arsenal in the Cup."

The game away at Pride Park has been re-scheduled for Wednesday 2nd March.
