WOLVES Midfielder Seyi George Olofinjana has said that he will stay at Wolves until the end of his current contract which ends in 2008.

WOLVES Midfielder Seyi George Olofinjana has said that he will stay at Wolves until the end of his current contract which ends in 2008.

The Wolves midfielder signed from Norwegian side Brann in the summer for £1.7M after Wolves fought off compettition from West Brom, Crystal Palace and surprisingly, Monaco.

Olofinjana had agreed to join Monaco from Brann days before his move to Molineux was confirmed, but due to a medical mix-up which wrongly claimed that Olofinjana had heart problems, the deal with Monaco collapsed.

The former Brann midfielder has said that although he wants his chance in the Premiership, he will honour is contract with Wolves. "I will like to play for a Premiership side but I have a contract that is yet to expire at Wolves. Even if there are clubs interested in buying out the contract, I will like to honour Wolves and see the contract to the end." Olofinjana told All Africa.
