Dave Jones has continued clearing the ranks at Molineux by allowing Darren Bazeley to leave Wolves by mutual consent and fuelling more speculation that Walsall boss Colin Lee will bring him to Bescot.
Bazeley who has had a injury ravaged Wolves career (now where have i heard that before) signed on a Bosman in 1999 and played over 80 games for Wolves scoring 4 goals.
Chief executive Jez Moxey said of Darren’s departure: "We wish him well in whatever he chooses to do. He joined us on a free transfer and now he’s left us on a free.
"He wanted to play football and his chances here became limited so it was decided that it would be best for both player and club if his contract was cancelled."
Boss Dave Jones added: "Unfortunately he has struggled with injuries in my time here but I wish him well for the future."
I for one wish Bazeley good luck where ever he goes, but if rumours are to be believed and he was fit towards the end of last season why the hell didnt he play.
Good luck Darren
