Wolves linked with Celtic and Spurs stars.

WOLVERHAMPTON Wanderers are set to make a written approach to Celtic Star Jackie McNamara over the next seven days in a bid to sign the Celtic Skipper. Wigan and West Ham have also shown an interest.

The Celtic Skipper is currently the lowest paid player at Celtic but it's unlikely the 32 year old Scot would move South to Molineux.

Instead it is more likely he will accept a new offer from Celtic, despite being angered at the length of time negotiations have been taking.

The Sunday Mail reports that Wolves, West Ham and Wigan are all set to offer the Scottish International the opportunity to sign on a bosman.

MEANWHILE Wolves have been linked with a move for Spurs defender Anthony Gardner. The 24 year old is said to get on well with Hoddle and would be tempted by a move closer to his native Staffordshire. Gardner made 24 league and cup appearances for Spurs last term.
