Meet A Palace Fan - The Oppositions View
Molineux

IT'S the second game of the season and 22 year old Chris Jablonski is the Palace Fan who we grilled ahead of the tough fixture at Molineux.
You got off to the worst start possible against Luton, are Wolves going to see a Palace backlash at Molineux?
Yes, that was a bit embarrassing. I think we got caught being too casual, and shown up for our luck of pre-season games (We only played four). The football we are playing now is very different, and will take time to gel. I will be expecting Palace to step up another gear entirely against Wolves.
Iain Dowie - Is he the man to guide you back to the Premiership?
Iain certainly is the man to get us back up there. He is a so highly thought of at Palace, and he is a workaholic. There are weaknesses in his game though, and I think this next month will show us how he copes with the amount of pressure we've created ourselves. He's learning with us though, and we are not complaining.
It's going to be a difficult division. Who do you think (If Not Palace) will win the Division?
Norwich. Only if they sort out
that defence though. Ashton was a man that a lot of Palace fans wanted at
Selhurst for a long time before he made himself a name last year. I do think he
is class, and will definitely help get Norwich up there. Wolves and Sheffield
Utd are going to be very strong too.
Andy Johnson should score goals galore at this level, but do you think he will really be considered by Sven whilst playing in the Championship?
Of course he should be considered. Even though I am biased, I don't think a move would have necessarily helped him get to the world cup. The grass isn't always greener. Oh, and he will score 30 plus...
Like Palace, Wolves have been labelled as favourites for the title. What do you know about Wolves?
A team with quite an
amazing history. If I'm right, the club has been through all sorts of financial
chaos but has finally got itself sorted. There is always a great atmosphere at
Molineux too.
Wolves. What do you know about our current side, who do you fear (if any!) and if you could take one player from the Wolves side and turn him into an Eagle, who would it be and why?
Miller has always been a handful, and obviously Ince has a huge amount of experience. Oakes is a great keeper and has been with you for years. I'm interested to see how Ricketts gets on this season. If I could pick a player to put in a red and blue shirt, it would be Miller. I can imagine them two [Johnson and Miller] in a partnership.
Palace. Who is your "one to watch" and do you have any injury problems?
Jobi McAnnuf has looked very sharp in pre season and against Luton. The highlight of the game for Palace was a run he did pretty much the whole length of the pitch. I do think we have got a great replacement for Routledge.
Prediction?
1-1
