After the misery of the defeat at the hands of Sporting Lisbon , Wolves plan to leave Portugal with a win under their belt (crossed fingers)
Wolves plan to wipe away the memory of the thrashing they got last thursday at the hands of Sporting Lisbon when they visit the little island of Madiera and play Maritimo FC.
The venue where Wolves will play is a little better than the training pitch they used against Sporting, however Estadio Dos Barreiros is a little 14,000 capacity venue which pales to Molineux but is still a feared staduim.
Wolves had a day off on friday hoping to recharge the batteries for what will be a heat filled day and Dave Jones hopes to have Joleon Lescott back in contention for the game after the young defender missed the 5-1 defeat thursday with a slight strain.
Other brighter news is Shaun Newton who has scored in the last 2 games is hoping to be fit to continue his scoring exploits against Maritimo.
