All you need to know about Wolves new signing. And also a little write up on what the management thinks of his move to Molineux.

Paul Ince finally signed for Wolves today after months of rumours ,and it's a massive coup for a Wolves team that can now surely challenge and win promotion this season.

Ince had a medical last night and was unvieled at a news conference at 1pm today. "He passed a medical last night and he's due here to sign," said manager Dave Jones. "He's the one we've been after all along." "Like Denis Irwin, he is going to be a fantastic asset to the football club," said manager Dave Jones.

"It's no mean achievement to attract Denis and Paul to Wolves to add to the other big signings we made last season and credit to the board for backing us. "Paul will add desire and drive to the team and he is a great addition to the squad."

Chief executive Jez Moxey added: "We've said all along that we needed to off-load players, and the sale of Colin Larkin to Mansfield has helped us to bring in a player that the manager feels will be of enormous benefit to the squad."

Paul started his career at West Ham and had idol status until he moved to Man Utd for £1 million, which was not greeted with happyness by Hammers fans.

He was'nt to know at the time but he would spend a very happy time at Old Trafford winning nearly everything avaliable like winning the Premiership title, FA Cup, League Cup, European Cup Winners' Cup and European Super Cup.

He then moved to Inter Milan for £7 million and did not enjoy the bests of times in Italy before moving to Liverpool for £3 million in which he scored 17 times for the scousers.

He then moved to Middlesborough which people thought might be a career ending move, but Dave Jones snapped up Ince today on a free and he now looks like ending is career at Molineux and hopefully take us up to the promised land.

I'm almost forgetting what an impact on the national side he had he went to Euro 96 which he was unlucky not to get a winners medal for and also went to France 98.

Paul will hopefully make his Wolves debut against Bradford sunday and i'm looking forward to it bigtime.
