Police In Talks Over Tune

After years of the Wolves favourite tune "The Liquidator" being banned the Board of directors finally gave in to the fans and brought the song back to Molineux, this was a massive step but the Police will do everything in their powers to stop the tune being played.

West Midlands Police are in talks with Wolves over a wordless "tune" which is to be played at Molineux this season.

The song is a fans favourite as the main part of the song is anti Albion.

Due to legal reasons we are unable to bring you the exact words the fans chant to the Liquidator but they basically mean "go away West Brom"

Football liaison officer Clive Whitfield, of Bilston Street police told the E&S newspaper "It was our first friendly match of the season against Newcastle on Saturday and I have yet to talk to anyone at the Molineux.

"There was an agreement between us and the club that the song was encouragement for home fans to use foul and abusive language.

"It seems a little strange that they are asking people not to use that language with signs around the ground, then encouraging them to use that language."
