Joleon Lescott is ranked as one of the best centre-backs at the club and with England honours at only 19, he`s sure to be one for the future.

Lescott was heavily linked with a £5 Million deal with Premiership giants Arsenal in the summer but Wolves showed their determination as they rejected all bids and held on to one of their prize assets.

The 19 year old was chosen to join the England U20`s National Side in the summer in a tournament in Toulon. The player lined up with many top Premiership players and told the clubs Matchday Programme "It was great to play against countries like Japan and China".

Lescott Adds "The players i was playing alongside included ones from Arsenal and Tottenham, i really enjoyed myself".

Lescott is allready a fantastic player and with the likes of Ludo Pollet and now Denis Irwin at the squad he can only get better "Denis will be able to teach me a lot, working with him will make me a better player".

Lets hope he continues last seasons form, should he do that, he will be a full England International in the next few years.
