Ainsworth linked with QPR
QPR boss Ian Holloway is rumoured to be interested in bringing Gareth Ainsworth to Loftus Road.

Ainsworth was recently told by City boss Lennie Lawrence that he is surplus to requirements, and is free to find a new club.

The former Wimbledon winger, who joined the Bluebirds towards the end of last season on a short-term contract, was sent-off away in City's 2-0 defeat at the hands of Bristol City at Ashton Gate, causing him to be suspended for the Playoffs. Although Lawrence says Ainsworth may stay and fight for his place, it is believed he has played his last game as a Bluebird.

Holloway is believed to be keen to land Ainsworth, as he looks to strengthen his squad for their promotion push next season.
