City 'keeper Martyn Margetson is facing a fitness battle to be fit for the Bluebirds' first ever visit to Milton Keynes, where they face Wimbledon on November 22nd. The former Everton 'keeper missed out on a place on the bench against Stoke City last Saturday due to a back injury.

Keynes, where they face Wimbledon on November 22nd.
The Wales 'B' international was not named in the Cardiff City squad for the first time this season, after a back injury prevented him from being included in the 16. Third choice 'keeper Arran Lee-Barrett had to be called upon in the final minutes leading up to kick-off to warm the bench. Margetson now faces a battle to be fit for November 22nd, with his current chances rated at 50/50. Arran Lee-Barrett will be named in the 16 if he is not fit, which will give the former Norwich City 'keeper more match-day experience. Margetson has started only two games for the Bluebirds this season, and for such a good 'keeper it his harsh he has a player with such potential in Neil Alexander ahead of him. He is probably one of the best 2nd choice goalies in the division. |
