Weston Injured as Reserves Draw with Jacks
Rhys Weston was taken off injured as City drew 1-1 with arch-rivals Swansea City in the reserve League Cup, and replaced by Danny Parslow.

The Welsh international suffered a cartilage injury, which was previously sustained in the visit to the Stadium of Light against Sunderland earlier in the season.

The return of the injury is worrying news for the Bluebirds, with cartilage problems ending careers of players in the past. It is current unknown how long Weston will be out for before the City staff can try and ease him back into first-team action.

As for the game, Nicky Fish was on the score sheet for the Bluebirds in the 1-1 draw with arch-rivals Swansea City, in front of a boosted reserve attendance at the Vetch Field.

Cardiff City: Barrett, Weston, Collins, Anthony, Huggins, Thomas, Fish, Parkins, Hayward, Fleetwood, Campbell.
