City Miss Out on Forest Tie
City's defeat against Sheffield United means the Bluebirds missed out on a tricky Fourth Round tie away to Nottingham Forest in the final 32 of the world's greatest cup competition.

Ball number 2, which would have been Cardiff City if they had beaten the Blades, was picked to face Forest during Monday lunchtimes draw, with former Welsh international Ian Rush drawing the home teams. The Nottingham club are currently struggling at the wrong end of the First Division table, but beat high flying West Bromwich Albion in the Third Round.

It's all ifs and buts though, the fact are we were beaten by the better side on Saturday, and didn't deserve a place in the Fourth Round hat.
