The kick-off time of Cardiff City's visit to the Hawthorns to take on West Bromwich Albion has been moved yet again. The game, which takes place on February 14th, will now be a 1pm start following discussions between the West Midlands police and the two clubs.

time of City's visit to the Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion has been
moved once again.
The police decided to move the kick-off away from the standard 3pm on Saturday time due to the sad likelihood of crowd trouble between the two sets of supporters. First the game was to be played on the Sunday with a midday kick-off, but it was then announced it would remain on the Saturday with a noon start. Confusing, eh? After further debate the West Midlands police have agreed with the two clubs that the game will kick-off at 1pm on the Saturday. City travel to the Hawthorns on February 14th, and hopefully that's not going to change! The game, one of four extremely difficult league fixtures in February, takes place one week after City's visit to Pride Park. That match is also a 1pm start, another kick-off moved on police advice! |
