Derby County boss George Burley believes the 2-2 result between his side and the Bluebirds was the fair result. Leon Osman’s late equaliser eased the relegation threat at Pride Park, and Burley seems satisfied with a point.
Derby County boss George Burley is satisfied with the 2-2 draw his team managed against the Bluebirds last Saturday, and believes the draw was the fair outcome following a closely fought game at Pride Park.
"A draw was a fair result, and we have to be quite pleased particularly as we got a late equaliser." said Burley
"Cardiff City are a good footballing side and I quote like the way they play. In Robert Earnshaw they have a striker who is always a threat and when they were in the position the option of the long ball to him was always there.
"Cardiff have a decent side in which Daniel Gabbidon and Graham Kavanagh have a huge input."
