An injury-ravaged Wales squad has forced Mark Hughes to add previous omission Rhys Weston to the set-up for Wednesday's international friendly against Scotland. The right-back is the third City player in the Wales squad, and the eighth on international duty.

injury-ravaged Wales squad for the upcoming international friendly against
Scotland. The City defender was an omission from the previous squad
announced by Mark Hughes. An Injury to Aston Villa defender Mark Delaney and FIFA refusing to rubber-stamp Ben Thatcher's eligibility to play for Wales before the game means that Sparky has been forced to add Weston to the squad who will face Bertie Vogts' side on February 18th. Weston joins City duo Daniel Gabbidon and Robert Earnshaw in the Wales squad, with Neil Alexander also involved in the match, named amongst the Scottish goalkeepers. Alan Lee and Graham Kavanagh are included in the Republic of Ireland set-up for their glamour friendly against Brazil. There are also international calls for Richard Langley and Tony Vidmar, who are representing Jamaica and Australia respectively. Congratulations to the eight City players on international duty.
