Rhys Weston will be out of first-team action for around a month after the Welsh international defender picked up a knee injury during City's 1-0 defeat at the hands of West Ham United at Upton Park on Saturday. Gary Croft looks set to be re-called to the starting line-up during Weston's absence.

| Cardiff City defender Rhys Weston will
be out of first-team action for about a month following the injury he picked
up during City's 1-0 defeat at the hands of West Ham United at Upton Park on
Saturday. Gary Croft, who was not included in the squad for the visit to East London due to a slight knock, looks likely to step in at right-back for the Welsh international for City's league clash against Coventry City on Tuesday evening. However, Lawrence could make several changes to the defence and the rest of the team for the visit of the Sky Blues due to the physical strain many of the players went through against Alan Pardew's West Ham side on Saturday. |
