A strong Reserve team beat an inexperienced Plymouth Argyle team at Ninian Park whilst behind the scenes money talk dominated......

Cardiff City have won the Wales and West section of the reserve league. They beat Plymouth Argyle 2-1. The home team lined up as follows - Arran Lee-Barret, Rhys Weston, Gary Croft, Chris Barker, Spencer Prior, Anthony Taylor, Nicky Fish, Gareth Whalley, Paul Parry, Gavin Gordon, Stuart Fleetwood. On the bench were - Anthony, Attard, Ledley, Thomas, Jerome The result secured the Pontins Holiday Combination Wales and West Section.Stuart Fleetwood got both goals and the Bluebirds will now play Reading who won the South and East section, over two legs, for the title of Pontins Reserve League champions.
