Cardiff City stopped a rot of five consecutive defeats with a 3-1 home victory over fellow strugglers Gillingham. Peter Thorne netted twice, including a penalty-kick, whilst youngster Cameron Jerome netted the first goal of the game as the Bluebirds secured a vital three points.
