The Future's bright and Blue!

2005-6 here we go!

No need to panic everyone. My Ambassador badge arrived last week, and others are in the post to fans still eagerly awaiting theirs. What a superb badge it is too - the club crest with Ambassador underneath it - whoever thought of that?! We now look forward to next season...

The squad is been trimmed, the wage bill slashed and hopefully some debts paid off....

Since the start of last season we have lost Earnie, Kav, Thorney, Gabbs and the Ginger Monster. But in all fairness the team didn't do so well with most of them playing last season!

Let's hope Alan Lee and Jeff Whitely can lead a charge up the Championship table, supported by Andy Campbell and Richard Langley...

I'm not the only one talking positive stuff - the Bluebirds Executive Deputy Chairman Peter Ridsdale has assured the club's fans their club has a bright future despite the departure of Danny Gabbidon and Jamie Collins.

'We have stated since the end of last season that there was a requirement to reduce the wage bill and that we needed to raise money to ensure we could repay monies owed to the Inland Revenue and other smaller creditors" Ridsdale is quoted as saying.

For me this Ambassador just wants to know  how many of the 9 - 13 new players mentioned by a certain individual will sign before the first game at Portman Road in August?
