Tottenham Hotspur news: Credit where credit is due

By all accounts Jacko had another good game for the reserves yesterday (Although they lost) and now it really must be a question of when will he get his chance?

If anyone at the club deserves a starting place (or at most a place on the bench) based on form then surely it is this guy.
He has been constantly influential, from his pre-season displays to each and every reserve game that he has featured in. This is in stark contrast to some of our first team midfield whose form has been well below par to say the least. A lot of those aforementioned players could learn a great deal by watching and emulating his determination and all round energy. He also has to be commended for acting like a model professional regarding his lack of first team chances (Etherington take note).
I understand that we have a lot of in-experienced and youthful players waiting to get their chance but Jackson is the best example of someone who has consistently played well and has conducted himself in the best manner possible. In my opinion he was better than both Ricketts and Blondel during pre-season and perhaps even deserved a midfield place above Old John and King. I hope we acknowledge this desire in some way as if our 1st team midfield continually looks like it has-been (very apt), then this isn’t really isn’t going to convey the right sort of message to those waiting for a chance.
