Bangor City fined for weakened Loosemores side

The official Welsh-Premier site reports Bangor City have been fined £250 for fielding a weakened side against Caersws in the final group stage match of the Loosemores League Cup.
A Welsh Premier League Commission fined Bangor City Football Club £250.00 (plus costs) yesterday afternoon for fielding a weakened team in their last Group match of the Loosemores Cup this Season.
The Citizens had already qualified for the Knock-Out stages of the competition and their starting eleven showed ten changes from their previous League match. They subsequently lost the game at Farrar Road 6-1, which meant the Holders Llanelli AFC were eliminated and Caersws progressed to the Quarter Finals.

welsh-premier.co.uk's opinion is teams should be able to play whoever they want provided they are registered and eligible.
With no disrespect intended to other clubs it is down to them to win their own games and gain enough points so as not to have to rely on other scores going in their favour.
