Welsh Cup preview ahead of the weekend
The Welsh Cup weekend starts with two local derby's Airbus UK Broughton host NEWI Cefn Druids at the Airfield and Port Talbot unbeaten under new boss Mark Jones host inform Llanelli who will be without key striker Rhys Griffths. (both kick offs 7.30pm)
Welsh League division 3 side AFC Llydcoed face their biggest game in the clubs history when they welcome Aberyswyth Town who desperatley need to overturn their recent blip in form (ko 1.30)
Bangor City v Rhyl is they key fixture with the Holders facing the league holders but everyone will be hoping that the game will be known for what should be a cracking game on the pitch rather than scenes off it. (ko 12.15pm)
Welsh league 1 side Bridgend host Cymru Alliance outfit Lex XI who travel south for their reward for beating CPD Porthmadog 2-0(ko 1.30pm)
Holyhead Hotspur take on Welsh Cup Semi Finalists Newport YMCA who went on a great run defeating Carmarthen, Llangefni and Welshpool amongst others before before bowing out to eventual winenrs Bangor City at Latham Park. (ko 2.00pm)
Cymru Alliance Champions Prestatyn take on Welsh League champiosn Goytre at Bastion Road (ko 2.00pm)
Finally The New Saints will face a tricky tie against inform Carmarthen at Park Hall but will probably be slight favourites having home advantage (ko 2.00pm)
Finally there are two Principality Welsh Premier fixtures tomorrow as well - Basement boys Caernarfon Town welcome Darren Ryans Newtown to the Oval and Porthmadog host Caersws (both kick offs 2.30pm)
