New Porthmadog boss Tomi Morgan speaks to welsh-premier.co.uk
On returning to management footbal Tomi Morgan told us tonight he is delighted to be back in football. "I've got football running in my blood and enjoy the challenge".
"It is ironic that my first game is back at Welshpool (this Friday 7.30) but looking forward to going back to Maesdyre and I have old friends there which would be good to catch up with".
Tomi
also explained that he will be at Porthmadog until the end of the
season and the existing backroom staff will remain."The aim is simple really - Survive in the Welsh Premier
league!".
"Any team that has Marc Lloyd Williams in will get goals but we've been working on our defending" (Port's defence has been under some criticism on their forum this season for the amount of goals shipped). Due to the transfer window closing no new players were signed but Tomi did say that his first training session and went well and theres a good group of lads already at the club.
In a message to the fans "I've always had a good relationship and welcome from the fans from when I visited before and look forward to having a beer with them in the clubhouse after the games".
