Llanelli cut lead to 1 point + premod removed

Llanelli gained three vital points on the road this evening, with a 2-0 triumph over Caersws at the Recreation Ground. Peter Nicholas handed a debut to
21 year-old Rory Smitham, who followed in his father Donny's footsteps into the Llanelli First Team.

The youngster joined the Reds in January from Swansea-based Welsh League outfit West End, and he justified his selection, with a dream debut scoring the opening goal on 52 minutes, after a goalless First Half. Just two minutes later, Mark Pritchard scored the second for the visitors, which gave the current Champions the cushion they needd and they held that margin until the Final Whistle.

The Reds are now just one point behind leaders Rhyl, but have played one game more than their Title Rivals.

Technogroup Welshpool 2-2 Prestatyn Town

Huw Griffiths' Welshpool twice came from behind to secure a point at Maesydre against Prestatyn. Striker Ian Griffiths returned to the side to hand the visitors the lead on eleven minutes, but the Lilywhites' leading scorer Paul Roberts, who was also recalled after suspension equalised just five minutes later. Prestatyn's Jon Fisher-Cooke gave the visitors the lead again on 73 minutes, but Roberts was at it again just three minutes later to level again, and the two strugglers shared the points.
