We catch up with Caersws' star attacking midfielder Andy Davies. Can Caersws turn round their bad start to the campaign?
I met Andy in a bar in Helsinki after the Finland v Wales game last month.
Naturally in a joyous mood after the victory he agreed to do an interview for
us. Here's what he had to say...

Q1- What has been the highlight of your career
so far?
Overall, it has to be our European Adventure away in Bulgaria with Caersws
(and the fact i scored the winning goal against Connahs Quay to get us there!)
Q2- Caersws have started poorly this season- do
you think you can make a late surge up the table like you did last year?
Its very difficult at the moment for Caersws, as so many players are out due
to injury and that the teams at the bottom are getting points of each other.
But i believe that when we start to get these injured players back, then we
will surge up the table, for a top 10 position.
Q3- What's the team-spirit like at Caersws?
I've been at Caersws for 3 and a half years now and the team spirit hasn't
really changed. There has always been a good team spirit throughout because
there are many local players who get on well with each other, and this makes
it easier for people away to feel the 'team spirit'.
Q4- Who's the best player you've faced in a
Welsh Premiership game?
The best player I've played against is Ricky Evans - superb player, he
can tackle, he's strong and skillful and could pass a lovely ball.
Q5- Do you think you can still make it into the
professional game?
No.
Q6- Any opinions on the standards of refereeing
in the Welsh Premiership
Poor, even the obvious decisions they don't give. Its not very often when we
come of the pitch and the referee hasn't made a major controversial decision.
It does happen - but not very often!
Q7- Finally, as a keen attender of Welsh
national team games, do you think we'll make Portugal in 2004?
I don't see why not, if we win all our games at home now, then were
through and also, if we sneek some points away could get top of the
group. Its a shame its not the World Cup qualifiers instead of the European
Championships, but at the moment - we'll take any competition
