Black & Greens Arrange Pre-Season Preparations

Aberystwyth Town have booked three pre-season friendlies ahead of the 2004/2005 league campaign. After being eliminated from the Intertoto Cup, the Seasiders have arranged games against Barry Town, Bala Town and Goytre United.

Aberystwyth Town have been quick to arrange a series of pre-season friendlies, now they know they will not spend their season warm-up competing in the Intertoto Cup after going out against FC Dinaburg. Short-notice has meant that there are no matches that will get Black & Green fans particularly excited, but there are some interesting fixtures nevertheless.

The Seasiders will host recently relegated side Barry Town on July 24th, a game which should attract some local interest, before another Welsh League outfit Goytre United visit Park Avenue on August 7th. Sandwiched between these home games, Aberystwyth face an intriguing away trip to Cymru Alliance new-boys Bala Town.
