In the three midweek games, Caernarfon's fight for league safety continued after beating Connah's Quay 2-1. Llanelli's fight took another turn for the worse, going down 2-0 at Cwmbran. Welshpool's improvement continued after beating nine-man Aberystwyth 2-0.
