West Brom to make move on Watford striker?

West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson has already begun refining his squad for next season. The club captured the signing of Gareth McAuley from Ipswich Town earlier this week, and three players have already been given the chop from the Hawthorns. Today the Midlands club look likely to mount a bid for a new striker, someone to partner Peter Odemwinge up front.
A possible target for Roy Hodgson is Watford's Danny Graham. QPR are already believed to have had a bid for the striker turned down, but this is unlikely to deter Hodgson from making a proposed £2.5 million bid for the Championship's top scorer.
The 25 year old has 41 goals in 98 appearances for Watford, since his arrival at the club in 2009.

For some reason, this article has today appeared on Watford's NewsNow feed despite the article being published nine months ago. Sadly for West Bromwich Albion supporters, Danny Graham ended up going to Swansea City.
NewsNow seems to have a habit of alerting its readers of new content from Sportnetwork sites, as Middlesex CCC's feed is this evening promoting an article from Somerset CCC's board from July 2011, while a few weeks ago I remember it promoted an article from Middlesex's board from September 2011.
On a different note, it appears that sadly this forum has once again gone into 'Test mode', hence the recent lack of posts. However, it is still possible for people to post in this forum by adjusting the site's URL from www.thefootballnetwork.net/boards/read/s192.htm?278 to www.thefootballnetwork.net/boards/read/s66.htm?278. Hopefully my tip will now result in the site returning to its former glories.
I comprehensively wrote about this process on 12th July 2010 and 6th March 2011.
