Bryan Robson wants striker Kanu to stay put at the Baggies after it emerged that he is on the 'wanted list' of clubs from Spain, Italy and even the Premiership.

FIFA rules state that a player, who has been signed by a club at the start of the season, CANNOT move to another country until 1-year after the player signs a contract with his current club.

It is rumoured that Kanu is unhappy that former boss Gary Megson was sacked, and wants a quick reaction and change of results from new boss Bryan Robson.

Robson today stated: "We want Kanu to stick around. He is a quality player. Let's just say it will cost a hell of a lot of money for anyone interested in him."
