Redditch United vs. Leigh RMI preview

After Tuesday night's 3-1 home victory over Blyth Spartans, RMI have yet another Conference North "six pointer" on their hands when they visit second bottom Redditch United on Saturday.

Leigh make the trip with a five point cushion above the Conference North relegation zone, and face a Redditch side that are scrapping for their lives in twenty first place in the league, although they are level on thirty three points with third bottom Scarborough.

RMI goalkeeper John Lamb plays in his final game before missing next Friday's home game with Vauxhall Motors through suspension after being sent off in the recent 2-1 defeat at Stalybridge Celtic, while RMI boss Stuart Humphreys is set to name the same side that defeated Blyth on Tuesday, with Mark Maddox and Hugh McAuley both still sidelined through injury.

Redditch go in to the game in the midst of a three game unbeaten run, having drawn 1-1 at home to Barrow on Tuesday evening after beating both Lancaster City and Nuneaton Borough in recent encounters.

Redditch have never beaten RMI in a Conference North game after the sides drew 0-0 at Hilton Park earlier in the season, while Leigh ran out victors in both of last season's encounters, including a 2-1 victory in Worcestershire on the opening day of the season.
