A strong and experienced striker, Terry Murphy joined Leigh Genesis in March 2011 having previously played for the likes of Burnley, Motherwell, Skelmersdale United, Witton Albion and most recently West Lancashire League side Fleetwood Hesketh.
Murphy made a goalscoring Leigh Genesis debut in a 3-2 Evo-Stik League First Division North defeat to Woodley Sports, scoring a terrific volleyed goal that will live long in the memory.
