Temporary signings

Leigh RMI manager Mark Patterson has confirmed the signings of three professional players, two midfielders and a striker coming from both the Premiership and Football League.

Former Huddersfield Town midfielder Stephen Smith is on trial with the Hilton Park side, along with fellow midfielder Shaun Dootson who was on loan to RMI last season from local Premiership side Bolton Wanderers.

Also joining RMI is Macclesfield Town striker Neil Robinson who has joined on a season long loan and will be linking up with former Silkmen team mate Damian Whitehead at Hilton Park, Whitehead having made the same journey last summer.
