York City v. Leigh RMI preview

Leigh RMI make the trip to the White Rose capital and Bootham Crescent for a Nationwide COnference game against York City, who were relegated from the Football League at the end of last season.

Despite being tipped to be one of the front runners in this year's competition, York have struggled to get going this season, and are currently just one place outside of the relegation zone, two points ahead of RMI, who fell in to the drop zone after Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Lancashire rivals Accrington Stanley.

RMI have been dealt a blow in the build up to the game with the news that former Bolton full back Martin Moran, who has become a much more impressive performer week-by-week as he becomes more accustomed to his role in the RMI side, is set to miss the game through illness, while former Derby County midfielder Gareth Holmes is still missing with a torn cartilage.

York boss Chris Brass has only two injury concerns, with captain Steve Davis ruled out with a hip problem, while former Barnsley star Kevin Donovan is also likely to miss out.
