Lutley completes Tangerine loan signing

Leigh RMI manager Geoff Lutley has fulfilled his promise earlier this week of a loan signing from a Coca Cola League club with Blackpool defender Phil Doughty arriving at Hilton Park.

Although he hasn't yet made a league appearance for the Tangerines in League One this season, 18-year old Doughty is highly rated by Seasiders boss Colin Hendry and has made three appearances for Blackpool in this season's LDV Vans Trophy after impressing on his side's pre-season tour of Northern Ireland.

Doughty will be at Hilton Park for a month and will be looking to gain valuable first team experience whilst at the club.
