Kilmarnock league cup quiz

Although Kilmarnock have never won the League Cup, they have reached the final on no less than three occasions. The first of which was against Dundee on the 25th October, 1952.. Both sets of fans were preparing themselves for a replay, when Dundee's Bobby Flavell scored twice in the last eight minutes.

Only eight years passed before Kilmarnock appeared in their second League Cup Final. The match was a re-run of the Scottish Cup Final, six months earlier. Rangers had beaten Kilmarnock 2-0,and were to beat them again by the same score.

It was Hearts who provided the opposition for Kilmarnock's next League Cup Final only two years later. They went down 1-0 having a last minute goal chopped off by the ref.
