AS Airdrie 2-2 Millbeg AFC

Airdrie got pre season underway with a hard fought draw with there SAFL visitors.

Matt Brown gave Airdrie the lead midway through the first half with a neat finish from a Donaldson cutback and Trialist Donaldson made it two shortly after with good run and shot in off the post. Airdrie had numerous chances in the second half to extend there lead with Gray and Donaldson both guilty of not taking there chances. Millbeg pulled a goal back from the spot after burton was judged to have taken his man down before winning the ball. Millbeg's second came directly after Donaldson should have wrapped the game up he wanted to much time on the ball and may even have had a penalty as he rounded the keeper and went down, However Millbeg went up the park and scored though MacFarlane in the Airdrie goal thought he should have done better with the effort.

All in all a pretty decent workout against good opposition.
