Prediction league Games 33 and 34

Isn't it brilliant being in the only league in Scotland where absolutely nothing has been decided, I'm blatently ignoring the SPL and the split and all that bollocks. The Ladbrokes Scottish League division 1 has it all to play for, no one knows whose going up, know one knows whose going down. A few teams are secure in the division (sigh of relief) but other than that it's still all to play for.
Game 43 - Airdrie 1 - Ayr 2. By all accounts this is a match we deserved to take something from, we have consistenly match Ayr this season, even if we have had very few points from the matches and thisgame was to be no different. Airdrie took an early lead after only 9 minutes, Dale Carrick slotted home for the Diamonds.
Airdrie were then forced to make an early change when Scott Stewart recieved an injury and had to be substituted.
Ayr got themselves back in to the match after 35 minutes Robbie Crawford Scoring the equaliser. Ayr then sealed the points with a goal from Lawrence Shankland on the 70th minute.
Game 44 - Airdrie 2 - Albion Rovers 0. This may be controvertial but I really don't want to see Albion Rovers going down. Lets pretend the top two go up and the bottom two are relegated from both leagues that means our local derby next season is going to be Alloa or Dumbarton...let that sink in our closet fixture is 36 miles away!!! Would Monklands hospital please prepare the liver transport unit for a busy time.
The match went the way we all hoped it would, even though we put together a make shift team that due to suspension and injury saw us short of maybe 8 first team starters. The bigger surprise Adam Brown scoring the first goal! That's probably unfair we know he has the talent and the skill but we just don't see it often enough. His goal on the half hour mark gave us a breather as we were looking a little disjointed at times.
The second goal game seconds after Albion Rovers had thier best chance to equalise, Trouten got on to the ball in the penalty box went round Ferguson and slotted home, on another day with the luck on thier side Joshua Edwards wouldn't have got to the ball and cleared out lines.
Airdrie replied with a quick goal from Tom Fry and that was all she wrote.
Just like our league it's still all to play for two correct scores six points and anyone from four can take the signed top.
