Airdrie United -V- Berwick Rangers
By Chris MacMillan

Today AirdrieUnited entertain Berwick Rangers at Broomfield, but the question seems to be can the team entertain the Airdrie United support. Sitting eight in the league is doing nothing for our spirits and it seems the natives are getting a little restless.
So a little perspective is needed i feel and below is the squad list and those who are injured.
Jimmy Boyle
Long time injured
Paul
Armstrong
Simon
Vella Still away???????
Scott Wilson
Sandy
Stewart Injured against St Johnstone
Liam
McVey Injured after Tuesdays game
Neil McGowan
Marvyn Wilson
Stephen Docherty
Lee
Gardner
Paul Harvey
Willie Wilson
Darren
Miller (have we seen him yet??)
Steve MacAulay
Gashed leg, out for two weeks
David
McGuire
Martin Glancy
Paul
Ronald
Alan Gow
Stephen McKeown
Jerome Vareille
So with four injuries were left with a squad of seventeen players and one keeper.
The choices left to Sandy Stewart, the manager of our team Airdrie United are very limited. No-one can plan for having almost one fifth of your squad out of action.
So what's the choices for Sandy? By the looks of things were going to have another make shift back line and hopefully Simon Vella will have returned and give us some height, another choice would be to put Paul Ronald back there.
Mark Mcgeown
Paul Ronald Stephen Docherty Neil McGowan
Paul Armstrong Simon Vella
Lee Gardner
Marvyn Wilson David Dunn
Stephen McKeown Jerome Varialle
Looking at the league table we are in trouble when other teams play their games in hand it could leave us second bottom. We now have only Thirteen games until the end of our first season and it is now time that every player in an Airdrie United shirt took a good look at themselves and fight for every ball, shoot from any part of the pitch and put some wins together.
Thirtynine points are up for grabs and i think we can get them all.
