Airdrie United have to win.

When Airdrie United play Forfar Athletic, hopefully, on Tuesday night they must win. When you look at our position in the league who can doubt that a match like this can mean success or failure for Sandy Stewart in this league.

The 3-3 draw between Stanhousemuir and Forfar has made this match a must win for Airdrie United. What will a win mean, for a start it will secure 8th place giving Airdrie United 31 points and will actually move Airdrie United into 6th spot in the Scottish secind division .

Hamiltons two games in hand can only give them  30 points and Cowdenbeaths one will only give them 27. It is a different matter if we are to catch and stay ahead of Forfar who have 2 games in hand adn already have 30 points.

With no knowledge as yet of Airdrie Uniteds injury problems we must assume that Sandy Stewart, Jimmy Boyle, Liam McVey and Steven MacAuley are still out, which leaves us struggling on the left hand side again.

Once again, Airdrie United must win there is no other option.
