Airdrie United -V- Dumbarton

Well Sat is almost here again and it looks like Sandy Stewart will have almost a full squad to chose from for the visit of Dumbarton to New Broomfield.

 

We have not beat Dumbarton this season and the team has to start fighting for every single point that is available in this league. Time to please stand up and be counted Airdrie United.

Neil McGowan returns after his injury for this game which should allow David Dunn to push forward into an attacking position So Neil comes back and we loose Kenny Black due to a calf strain.

Some other good news come from the Dumbarton camp, Emeka Obidile and Neil Duffy are both out for this game.

Sandy Stewarts comments in the Advertiser and BBC website shows how determined he is to change our fortunes against The Sons "We haven't beaten Dumbarton this season in three attempts and haven't played particularly well in any of these games either. It's about time that changed."

Lets hope he can get this across to the team, we know how good our team can be and quite frankly it's time they realised it.

On another point, it will be good to see back at the club, Bill Barrs puppet,none other than the Punto driving Andy Gemmel (yes i know i have mis-spelt his name).
