The second of three very important games in the future of Airdrie United is against Hamilton Academicals. A 7:45 kick of on A cold March night in Hamilton something we all look forward to

Sandy Stewart leads his team onto the park at New Douglas Park hoping to continue the unbeaten run the team are on. The win against what some would consider this seasons bogie team should lift Airdrie Uniteds spirits and from reading the message boards it certainly has lifted the fans.

But were a fickle bunch and we all know that nothing less than a win will help secure second division football and increase the slim chance there is of promotion.

Sandy only has one injury worry and that is David Dunn, who was callously assaulted on Saturday during the Dumbarton game. On the other side of Lanarkshire Chris Hillcoat could have a bonus with the return from injury of Airdrie fans favourite Brian McPhee and defender Eddie Cunningham. Strange but the reason i thought they were not playing was because they were fed up their wage cheques kept bouncing. I may of course be wrong in this I usually am.

A Large vocal support is also expected for tomorrow nights game.

Lets hope we can finally make it two wins in a row.
